Provides a safe and enjoyable environment for children to develop a relationship with the ball.
Involves weekly sessions in the fall and spring seasons; the Kicks4Kids coordinator places kids into small groups upon registration.
Members of the Iowa Rush coaching staff oversee player volunteers from the Select program as they lead kids through a series of fun games.
Prioritizes lots of contact with the ball, lots of goals, and lots of fun!
What to Expect
All young soccer participants will be greeted by Iowa Rush North coaches and player volunteers. Participants will start with large group drills and then break up into small groups to play fun games that focus on dribbling, shooting and basic soccer rules. Parents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy watching participants experience the joy of soccer!
What to Wear
All Kick 4 Kids participants will receive a Kicks 4 Kids t-shirt. In addition to outdoor clothing appropriate for the day's weather, we encourage participants to wear their Kicks 4 Kids t-shirt to each session if possible.
What to Bring
No uniform or cleats required, but each player will need a Size 3 Ball. If you have a question about this clinic, please contact our Kicks 4 Kids Coordinator at jamesprice@iowarushnorth.com.
