Why you and your player will love Rush Soccer
Fun & challenging
We believe young players build competency on the ball by spending time in a variety of ways with the ball. This competency builds confidence and enjoyment when in the training environment.
less travel
We train and play games at Prairie Ridge Soccer Complex in Ankeny. Your only travel will be to the home fields that your child will know and love.
parents are partners
Parents are a large part of the child’s development on the field. Learning what we are teaching and why, then supporting us through positive reinforcement and letting your child know that you love watch them play is very important. We want to help you help your player.
all players are valued
Every player regardless of age, gender, or ability level has the same access to training sessions, matches, and coaching.

How We move the ball
Small-sided games and activities are utilized to develop each child’s understanding of how to move and manipulate the ball. Activities are designed to be age-appropriate and provide a desirable level of challenge for players.
Training
- Weekly trainings will be planned by the Iowa Rush Technical Director and run by Rush Coaches and Parent Volunteer Coaches.
- 2 training sessions a week. Please note, there is a lot of flexibility if players are not able to attend both trainings in a week. We recognize there are many activities players are involved in and do not want the 2 days a week training to deter anyone from signing up if they would like to play Rush Soccer.

- Games will be played 4v4 with no goalies. Each game will have 4 quarters of 12 minutes.
