How we play - how we perform
Continues to emphasize individual player development with an increasing focus on team performance.
About
Apex Rush Rec is focused on enjoyment, participation, basic skill development and teaching life skills through soccer.
Rec teams are based on US Soccer age guidelines. There are no tryouts for recreational teams. Players will play at least 50% of each game. Team formation / player placement is different in soccer than other sports.
Oftentimes, we will need to combine two age groups to make a team. For example, we may combine, 11U and 12U players to create a team. Teams are not based on skill/talent. We cannot guarantee requests for players to play with certain other players or coaches. When possible, teams will remain the same from fall to spring seasons.
All teams follow the Level 3 guidelines including 50% playing time in matches.
Most teams practice 2 times per week at McAninch Sports Complex or Gregg Youth Sports Campus in Norwalk.
You will need to upload a birth certificate & headshot for your player. You will be redirected to Apex Rush’s registration system through Sprocket Sports. After creating an account with your child's profile, you will see the program options.
Register by July 15th.
If you have questions or concerns about the registration process, please contact Cody Hudson - codyhudson@apexrushsoccer.com
