u15 Girls Tournament Champions!

The Iowa Rush u15 Nike girls team competed in the Just For Girls Tournament this weekend and won all 4 games to become tournament champions! 

The u15 girls beat Centennial Fire in their first game of the weekend 1-0 and then had their second game cut short by the storms that rolled in Saturday night. They managed to go up 3-0  against Chicago Homer Glen in the first half and that score held up when the game was canceled.

On Sunday, they defeated NSSA Blast 2-1 to earn their way into the final game where they were paired with Chicago Homer Glen again as the 2 highest point earners in the group of 4. Iowa Rush found a way to fight the wind, the opponent and the fatigue of playing 4 games in 2 days to win the final 1-0.
