Allison Klapperich, MS, LAT, ATC is employed at Physiotherapy Associates and provides athletic training/sports medicine services to Iowa Rush since 2010. Allison provides injury consulations free of charge to all Iowa Rush athletes. These consultations include injury assessments, education and prevention. What is an Athletic Trainer?
A Certified Athletc Trainer is an allied health care professional that specializes in prevention, assessment, management and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Athletic trainers provide a vital communication link between the injured athlete, physician, coach and the athlete's family to determine when it's safe to return to practice and competition.
